About Cocoa

A native of Detroit, Michigan, Cocoa has been working with hair since the age of 15. When she walked into a salon on Detroit's West Side of town, she knew working with hair in the form of extensions was her calling.

Since then she's trained with top stylists in Canada, New York, Atlanta, Florida, and Los Angeles.

Cocoa is devoted to natural hair care. "I love natural hair care because it keeps my clients hair strong and healthy," she says. "I can provide natural alternatives for clients who do not want any chemical work, glue, knots, lumps or bumps."

Cocoa's clients have included Brenda Jones of The Jones Girls, the daughters of pro basketball star Bob Lanier, and some of George Clinton's crew, to name a few.
